each of the herki rugs are wool carpets of the floor made in eastern Turkey and Iraq. The reason it is thick and wool is to keep it warm in winter. we shave the carpets specially and thin the thick wool part. In this way, it is lighter and more useful.What makes these carpets special is their excellent neutrality. because weaving is made entirely of natural white and black wool.
